Apple-cinnamon granola bars
Apple cinnamon granola bars are ideal as an energy source when exercising or as a quick breakfast on the way to work, because a granola bar can prevent hunger and low energy levels and also keeps you full for a long time.
Make your own granola bars without added sugar
Conventional granola bars often contain a high amount of added sugar or syrup, which binds all the ingredients together well. In our recipe for apple cinnamon granola bars, we use Xucker Bronxe and our popular Xucker apple cinnamon fruit spread instead. Both ingredients ensure that the bars hold together wonderfully after baking. Refrigerated and packed airtight, our granola bars have a shelf life of two to three weeks.
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
2. First mix the cereal flakes with the coconut flakes, chia seeds and almond flakes.
3. Then stir in the oil and milk and let the mixture rise a little.
4. Stir in the amaranth and Xucker Bronxe and evenly work in the Xucker apple-cinnamon fruit spread.
5. Now spread the muesli mixture on a baking tray until it is a finger thick and bake in the oven for around 15 minutes until golden brown.
6. Cut the mixture, while still warm, into appropriate muesli bars and allow to cool.
