Caipirinha cocktail without added sugar
A Caipirinha is to summer what mulled wine is to winter. Hot summer days can be perfectly ended with such a refreshing cocktail. Unfortunately, this drink is usually also a big sugar trap, as it contains a whole 30 g of cane sugar per glass. This corresponds to 130 extra calories.
Sugar-free Caipirinha cocktail
But it's very easy to replace the brown sugar with Xucker Bronxe and you'll have a sugar-reduced Caipirinha cocktail in no time! Xucker Bronxe is wonderfully suitable, as it is very similar to the caramel note of brown sugar and also completely matches in color.
Instructions
1. Wash the lime with hot water and pat dry. Then roll the lime back and forth with your hand on a smooth surface so that the flesh becomes nice and soft.
2. Cut off the ends and cut into eighths. Put the lime and Xucker Bronxe in the glass.
3. Carefully crush both with a pestle or wooden spoon until the lime juice comes out.
4. Fill the Caipi with cachaça and crushed ice and serve with a straw and lime slices.
Tip: For a watered-down version, add a dash of sparkling mineral water to the Caipirinha.
