Low carb Mojito cocktail

Low carb Mojito cocktail

The Mojito is a must at any cocktail party, the originally Cuban drink is one of the most popular cocktails in the world. It is very refreshing, not as sweet as other mixed drinks and only a few ingredients are needed. Unfortunately, one of these ingredients in the original recipe is cane sugar - and lots of it! And this is where erythritol comes into play... Mixing a Mojito without added sugar Today we'll show you how you can mix a low-carb Mojito without sugar yourself. We used Xucker Bronxe for this - our raw sugar substitute. Of course, the drink also works well with Xucker Light.

Instructions

1. For the mojito cocktail, roll the lime on the table while warming it slightly with your hand until it becomes noticeably soft. This helps release the lime’s aroma and bursts the small juice capsules inside.
2. Cut the lime in half and trim off the bottom ends. Quarter the lime halves and place them into two glasses.
3. Divide the mint leaves between the glasses and sprinkle Xucker Light over them.
4. Using the blunt end of a muddler, press the limes to release their juice, being careful not to crush the bitter white part of the peel.
5. Pour in the rum and add a generous splash of sparkling water.
6. Fill the glass about ¾ full with crushed ice, then stir gently to bring the lime juice and alcohol to the top.
7. Add the remaining crushed ice, and your delicious low-carb mojito is ready. Cheers!
