Marzipan without added sugar
The most common reason why we often can't cut sugar out of our diets is that we love sweet things and therefore find it hard to resist snacking. However, anyone who thinks that marzipan doesn't fit into a healthy low-carb diet hasn't considered our sugar-free marzipan.
Making your own marzipan with erythritol
With just a few ingredients, you can easily make your own low-sugar marzipan paste, process it further as desired, or simply snack on it plain. Enjoy trying it out!
Instructions
1. For the sugar-free marzipan, first place the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix with a spoon or by hand.
2. Then add the almond butter, rose water, and bitter almond flavoring, if desired, and mix until smooth. If it remains too crumbly, add an additional one or two tablespoons of water.
3. Knead the marzipan mixture with your hands and form it into a ball or roll. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
