Protein chocolate cake
Sweet enjoyment can be so easy when empty carbohydrates and fats are replaced with alternative ingredients such as almond flour and chia seeds or even quark. With no flour and no added sugar, it is a real low-carb treat.
Protein chocolate cake recipe
For the protein chocolate cake, we use calorie-free erythritol in the guise of our aromatic raw sugar substitute Xucker Bronxe.
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 160 °C (fan oven).
2. Mix the eggs with Xucker Bronxe, milk and cream as well as the Vanillexucker. Stir in the almond flour, baking powder, chia seeds and drinking chocolate powder one after the other. Now add the baking flavor and egg white powder and stir the dough until a homogeneous, creamy mass is formed.
3. Put the dough in the greased pan and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, covered with baking paper. Then continue baking uncovered for another 25 minutes.
4. In the meantime, beat the low-fat quark with a little lemon juice and the erythritol powder until creamy and fold in fruit such as blueberries or strawberries as desired.
5. Serve the cooled cake with a little quark and enjoy.
