Rosemary-ginger syrup
Syrup is a sugar bomb par excellence. Luckily, we can easily make conventional sugar water ourselves without sugar! Our rosemary-ginger syrup without sugar is a perfect base for unusual lemonades and cocktails.
Make your own syrup with xylitol
We simply replace the sugar in the homemade rosemary-ginger syrup 1:1 with xylitol. This is because Xucker Premium dissolves very well and, unlike the erythritol in Xucker Light, remains liquid even after cooling.
Instructions
1. Bring water and Xucker Premium to a boil in a pot until the Xucker has completely dissolved.
2. For a more intense ginger flavor, peel the ginger, slice it, and let it simmer for a few minutes.
3. Finally, place a few sprigs of rosemary into a bottle and pour in the syrup.
4. Before use, allow the syrup to cool so it can absorb more rosemary aroma. When stored in the refrigerator, tightly sealed, the syrup will keep for several months, as Xucker preserves just as well as sugar.
